Who said coffee in a keyboard is a bad thing? Update on health and other things you never wanted to
Oh, I guess anybody who has experienced it. The physics of it is pretty simple really, a liquid that conducts remarkably well for the nonconductive sediments it contains getting into the switches under the keys makes them stay on, until the liquid dries, which leaves an oily substance which luckily doesn’t conduct well, but does prevent the switches from going down AT ALL, leaving you with the opposite problem you had 28 hours earlier.
Oh well, I have a backup in use, and although the keyboard layout is kind of bizarre, it isn’t nearly as bad as postictal typing, which as I understand it is almost illegible.
Oh boy, I am so wired right now. Listening to Jimmy Buffet (have been for the last 4 hours) whilst drinking a (huge) cup of coffee Kelly gave me, has left me feeling a strange mix of wired and chilled.
Well, I had that dental work done, the tooth was shattered and now I have bling bling in my mouf.
My Epileptologist told me to not stay up late, but a deadline is a deadline, and while I see her logic, it doesn’t really match my reality. Besides, after the major cluster I had last week (from going toxic on fucking Tegretol UGH) has left me severely behind schedule and somewhat uncomfortable.
So, bring on all the coffee, anticonvulsants, and any NSAIDS you have handy cause it’s gonna be a late one tonight.
I wish I still smoked. I have wanted to have a cigarette pretty much since I quite smoking, however the last month, as I have been so fucking isolated, and down in general, it has really become an issue. Unfortunately, smoking isn’t an option so I am thinking of trying to find another destructive habit, perhaps slamming the sliding door on my head every time I feel like I need a pick-me-up.
Well, break time is over and I need to get at least 2 things off my big list tonight to be able to start the process of getting to sleep (going to Denny’s and pretending to be a speed freak), which will probably take a few hours.
