Well, I was cruzing along with the new Blosxom install, and I ran into some pretty big frusteration with the writeback plugins. I also found a fairly large security vulnerability reported from ISS, and decided that I should at least reconsider some of the other blog distros, and after looking for a little while, I decided that Moveable Type was actually really facking cool.

Besides having it’s own posting system (instead of the roll-your-own I had written in php), it natively supports mySQL and is just allot more put together.

No disrespect to Bloxsom however, this just seems allot more inline with what I am looking for.

So, I am in the process of undoing all the other work I have done for the last few weeks, and adapting it to the new MT interface.

First thoughts, it’s dope. Straight, uncut, dope.

Apparently, some of the plug-ins are also pretty groovy, and should allow me to still update this blog. I am hoping there is a way to export my LJ entries, so I can import them to the database.

Well, back to the grind stone.
